• MBTS is manily a Semi ultra Thiazole Accelerator which is also a fast curing accelerator. It gives vulcanisates with utmost properties which are same as of MBT only the scorch resistance of MBTS is more than MBT. It also has a reliable ageing property, non-staining and provides maximum efficiency when stearic acid is added to it. Furthermore, when combined with   thiurams,  dithiocarbamates and guanidines it produces safe mixer which increases curimg speed. MBTS serves as an antiscorch agent for Neoprene and its usage in rubber varies from 1.0 - 1.5 phr.
